- mix 1 part honey with 3 parts of sugar (e.g 4 spoons of honey and 12 spoons of sugar) - melt the honey and sugar at low heat in a pan and stir until it becomes a uniform paste - add chopped sage leaves and stir - take tea spoon sized portions of this mixture and let them dry on a cold oven pan.Those lozenges are basically sugar and honey with some fresh herbs inside. You can keep them in the fidge for about a week or two. Fresh herbs will eventually catch mold and go bad. Don't make too big portions and just use them while they are fresh.
