Tadoussac, Quebec

If you drive towards Québec City and go on driving until you have crossed the Saguenay River by ferry you will finally reach Tadoussac. It's a small and nice place, ideal for whale watching (from a boat or if you are lucky even from the shore).

Really a nice place to stay along the truly magnificient St Lawrence river.
